Questions Families Ask
Straightforward answers about ABA therapy, insurance, sessions, and what partnering with Oasis Therapy Group looks like from day one.

Insurance & Cost
Do you accept Medicaid?
Yes. Oasis Therapy Group accepts Arizona AHCCCS (Medicaid) and most private insurance, and we offer self-pay when needed. Benefits are verified before your first appointment.
Do you accept insurance?
We accept many major insurance plans, including AHCCCS, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Optum, and more. Self-pay is also available. Our team verifies benefits before care begins, so you know what to expect.
How do I verify my insurance coverage?
Request a benefits check through our Contact page or by phone. Share your plan details and we will review ABA coverage, authorization needs, and likely out-of-pocket costs before services begin.
Is a diagnosis required to start services?
Most insurers ask for an autism diagnosis or related documentation before authorizing ABA. If paperwork is unclear, contact us—we can explain what plans typically require and help you navigate next steps.
About ABA Therapy
What is ABA therapy?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach that uses positive reinforcement and structured teaching to help children with autism grow communication, social, academic, and daily living skills. It is widely recognized by major medical organizations as a leading autism treatment.
Is ABA therapy right for my child?
ABA often helps children with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental needs. A free consultation lets us review your child's strengths, challenges, and goals so we can recommend whether ABA is a strong fit for your family.
At what age should my child start ABA therapy?
Many families begin between ages 2 and 5, when early support can be especially impactful, but ABA can help learners of many ages. We set goals that match each child's stage, from early learners through school years.
How long does ABA therapy typically last?
Duration depends on goals, progress, and clinical need. Some children receive intensive care for months; others continue longer at a lighter pace. We review progress regularly and adjust so therapy stays useful and appropriate.
Our Services
Where do you provide ABA therapy?
Oasis Therapy Group brings ABA into natural environments, home, school, and daycare or childcare. Practicing where children live, learn, and play helps skills carry into everyday life.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Maricopa County and surrounding communities. Availability depends on staffing and insurance networks more than a fixed city line, so even if you are outside Phoenix, please reach out.
What does a typical therapy session look like?
Sessions are individualized and often play-based. A trained therapist works one-on-one on treatment-plan goals, communication, social skills, daily routines, and more, while collecting data. Caregiver coaching is part of how we work.
Do you offer telehealth options?
Yes. Telehealth connects families with clinicians remotely for parent training, consultations, and flexible support between in-person visits, subject to clinical fit and insurance coverage.
Getting Started
How do I enroll my child?
Book a free consultation through our Contact page or by phone. We discuss needs, verify insurance, and outline next steps. When ABA is a good match, a BCBA completes an assessment and we build an individualized plan.
What happens during the initial assessment?
A BCBA learns your child's strengths, challenges, and learning style through observation, caregiver interviews, and assessments as needed. From there we set measurable goals and a plan aligned with your family's priorities.
How involved will I be as a parent?
Very involved, and that is intentional. We coach caregivers so strategies continue at home, share regular updates, and welcome open communication throughout care.
